Hello, my name is Wendy Anderson. I am a Haudenosaunee woman from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, and I am Turtle clan. I grew up off the Territory until I moved back 25 years ago and raised both my two children there.

I am a Loyalist graduate from the Recreational Leadership (1987–1989) and Developmental Services Worker (1997–1999) programs. I was a varsity athlete in both Women’s Softball and Women’s Volleyball. I was an inductee to the Loyalist College Hall of Fame in 2003 and was also an inductee into the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 2009. I also coached the Women’s Varsity Softball team for eight years.

I have worked as a developmental services worker, collections officer with the government for more than years, cleaner of Airbnbs, cashier at a gas bar convenience store, and as Office Cordinator at Loyalist College.

I have been working at the Tsi Titewaya’ta:roroks Centre since February 2023. I had so many mentors while I attended Loyalist College, and now it is my turn to give back to the Loyalist community. Since my time here, I feel like all my friends, students and coworkers have become family.
