What are KPIs?
Surveys of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are conducted annually for each College of Applied Arts & Technology in Ontario by an independent research firm on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and Colleges Ontario.
Loyalist College graduate employment rate highest in Ontario
Loyalist College exceeded the provincial average in graduate employment, graduate satisfaction and employer satisfaction rates, according to annual Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results, released by Colleges Ontario on Jan. 25, 2023.
With 92.3 percent of the College’s 2020–21 graduates employed within six months of graduation, Loyalist College has the highest graduate employment rate in Ontario. Loyalist satisfaction rates also received top marks, with 100 percent employer satisfaction, 11.1 percent above the provincial average, and 81.5 percent graduate satisfaction, 6.1 percent above the provincial average.
How are OSAP default rates tracked?
Ontario Student Loan (OSL) default rates are provided to the colleges each year by the ministry’s Student Financial Assistance branch. A common methodology has been used for the calculations for all program-related information provided by all colleges and the data are updated annually.

Please note that the approved program sequence (APS) number is assigned by the Ministry of Training, Colleges & Universities; program names may vary slightly from how they are posted elsewhere on this site.
