On Thursday, November 21, students from the Esthetics and Spa Management and Social Service Worker programs at Loyalist College will team up to present a Women’s Appreciation and Spa Night on campus. Organized in support of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25, the event will help raise awareness and support the prevention of domestic violence. Women of all ages are invited to get a manicure and/or pedicure for only $5 each from students in the Esthetics and Spa Management diploma program. All proceeds will go to Three Oaks Shelter. There will also be displays set up in the Loyalist Dining Hall to represent community organizations and women’s groups, as well as an auction.
