Loyalist College has introduced a new format for the Winter 2012 FOCUS calendar with fewer pages but still the same wide range of course and program selection. The publication outlines the variety of learning opportunities available through Continuing Education at Loyalist College. This winter the College is offering over 800 courses and programs, many of which enable you to work toward a certificate and diploma at the College’s campuses in Belleville and Bancroft and at five other locations throughout the area. Most winter semester courses begin during the week of January 16. Many online courses offer monthly intakes.
“We’re excited to be releasing the newest FOCUS filled with great choices for the upcoming season,” said Trudie Lake, Manager of Continuing Education. “The selection of certificate and diploma programs offers flexible options for those wishing to pursue solid career choices, enabling them to achieve their goals one step at a time. Recent improvements will make it easier for individuals to access course information online and register for the course of their choice.”

The wide range of courses, programs and workshops being offered this semester include Pottery Bowl Extravaganza, Zumba, Sushi for Beginners, Graphic Design, Drawing for Painting, Accounting Techniques, Internet Applications and Web Development, and Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Developmental Services Worker (DSW) Apprenticeship.
