The College hosted the 2008 Sustainable Living Symposium on March 29th. It featured local businesses and organizations promoting products and services that can help people live more sustainably. The exhibitors included alternative home construction, waste diversion, renewable energy, community agriculture, gardening, land stewardship and much more.

Harvest Hastings is a new website created to let people know where they can buy locally grown food year round. Steven Tubb (left) and Theo Abel discussed the variety of grains, vegetables and fruits grown in Hastings county and also the different meats, honey, maple syrup, cheeses and butter.
