Prospective Students and Community Invited To Attend Loyalist College Spring Open House, Saturday, April 26th

Loyalist College welcomes prospective students and members of the community to an Open House on Saturday, April 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors will mingle with faculty and students and take a tour of the campus. 

Information will be available on Second Career, an Ontario government program designed to support laid off individuals through skills training for jobs in high-demand occupations. Guests interested in learning how to gain advanced standing through Prior Learning Assessment will have an opportunity to speak with advisors. In addition, Student Success Services staff will be on hand to explain the wide range of support systems available to students. Financial planning sessions will also be offered.

“Open House is an excellent opportunity to explore different career options,” said Loyalist College President Maureen Piercy. “Our 65 full-time programs, as well as part-time and Continuing Education programs, give learners the flexibility to choose a mode of study that works best for them. It also introduces endless possibilities for further study, including five Loyalist post-graduate programs and 77 university transfer agreements. Being on campus will allow guests to feel the positive difference that comes from learning in a close-knit College community.”

Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Location: Kente Building, Loyalist College

The College will cover the application fee for the first 20 people who submit a new Loyalist application ($95 value) during Open House.
