Loyalist Invites Prospective Students And Community to Spring Open House

Loyalist College will host prospective students and members of the community at the Spring Open House on Saturday, March 15th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Visitors are invited to meet faculty and students and take a tour of the campus including the new Digital Media Centre and Skills Centre.

Advisors will be available to explain how to gain advanced standing through Prior Learning Assessment and to provide information on Second Career, an Ontario government program designed to support laid off individuals through skills training for jobs in high-demand occupations in Ontario. They will also be delivering financial planning and parent information sessions.

“For prospective students and their families, Open House offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about our 65 full-time programs, as well as part-time and Continuing Education programs,” said Loyalist College President Maureen Piercy. “It also introduces endless possibilities for further study, including six Loyalist post-graduate programs and numerous university transfer agreements. Experiencing our small classes, personalized attention and student success services first-hand allows future students to understand why Loyalist grads have an edge when it comes to career options.”

Location:  Kente Building, Loyalist College

The College will cover the application fee for the first 20 people attending the Open House who submit a new Loyalist application – a $95 value.
