Loyalist Days Demonstrate How Programs Prepare Students for In-Demand Careers

For individuals who are considering pursuing post-secondary education starting in September 2013, Loyalist Days provides an opportunity to explore Loyalist College and learn about the programs offered. Potential students, as well as their friends and family, are invited to attend sessions to find out more about their program of interest and how it will prepare them for a rewarding job. They will have the opportunity to meet with Loyalist College advisors to ask questions and find out about the wide range of student services available. Tours of the campus and its residences will allow potential students to experience what campus life is like. 

What:  Loyalist Days    
When:  Tuesday, March 12th – Friday, March 15th 

9:30 a.m. Registration

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Program Session 

Tuesday: Human Studies and Post-Graduate International Support Worker

Wednesday: Media, Arts and Design and Post-Graduate 3D Video Production, Fundraising and Community Development, Public Relations and Sports Journalism 

Thursday: Skilled Trades and Technology, Justice Studies and Biosciences

Friday: Health Sciences, Business and Management Studies and Post-Graduate Human Resources, and Sports and Entertainment Sales & Marketing 

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Market Square – General Q&A, campus tours, and enrolment information sessions about support services and extracurricular activities at Loyalist College

Advisors will be available to answer your enrolment questions and campus tours will be offered every 15 minutes. We are also offering a Financial Planning Session.

“Loyalist Days are essential for showcasing our campus and extensive student services, as well as introducing our expert teaching faculty,” said Laura Naumann, Director of Enrolment Services and Registrar. “This year, we have added a Financial Planning Session to allow potential students to see that financing your college education does not have to be difficult.  At Loyalist, we can provide you with the tools you need to be successful, including planning and budgeting assistance as well as access to awards, bursaries, scholarships and on-campus job opportunities.”
