LOYALIST COLLEGE STUDENTS RECOGNIZED AT UNDERGRADUATE AWARDS PROGRAM, NOVEMBER 3

November 03, 2016

Belleville, Ontario, November 3, 2016 – Loyalist College presented 266 students with 313 awards with a total value of close to $177,000 during its annual Undergraduate Awards Program on Thursday, November 3.

Many of the awards were provided through The Loyalist College Foundation, which was established in 1995 to provide leadership in meeting the goals for long-term development and fundraising to benefit Loyalist students and programs. Other funds are donated by individuals, businesses and community organizations. Their generosity has contributed to the development of five new awards/bursaries this year.

Recipients were congratulated by Board of Governors Chair June Hagerman, and Loyalist Foundation Chair Susan Scarborough. “This recognition is shared by many in your lives – your family and friends – and we all join in congratulating you,” said Chair Hagerman.

“We are pleased to help provide financial support as well as encouragement and community recognition,” added Foundation Chair Scarborough.
