Loyalist College Rotaract Club and Rotary Club of Quinte Sunrise Host

Loyalist College is pleased to invite members of the media to attend a presentation for “End Polio Now” on Thursday, February 21. Organized by the Loyalist College Rotaract Club and the Rotary Club of Quinte Sunrise, the presentation will focus on “End Polio Now,” the international campaign to eradicate polio worldwide.

Guest Bob Wallace, Past District Governor of District 7070, will speak about Rotary, Rotaract and his recent trip to India where he participated in a Polio immunization day. The "End Polio Now" campaign has received international support from many donors, which include Rotary International and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. 

Prince Edward-Hastings MP Daryl Kramp and Northumberland-Quinte West MP Rick Norlock have confirmed their attendance at the event, which will also recognize the financial support “End Polio Now” has received from the Federal Government.

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. 
Where:  Loyalist College Gymnasium 

Pennies and spare change will be accepted at the event for the Loyalist Rotaract Club’s “Pennies for Polio” collection.
