Kawartha Credit Union Establishes Endowment Fund for Loyalist College Bancroft
Loyalist College has received $5,000 from Kawartha Credit Union, to establish an endowment fund available to any student involved with the Bancroft Campus (full or part-time). This donation will be matched through the Ontario Trust for Student Support (OTSS), and the endowed funds will provide awards on an annual basis throughout the future.
“Through our Community Involvement Program, Kawartha Credit Union is dedicated to making a difference by improving the quality of life in the communities we serve. We hope this donation will make a difference for students who are pursuing higher education at Loyalist College,” commented Tina Doucet, Kawartha Credit Union Branch Manager.
“We are delighted to receive this donation from Kawartha Credit Union,” said Loyalist President Maureen Piercy. “We appreciate the awards which have been provided to students at Graduation ceremonies over the past two years, and the endowment which is being established will provide support for Loyalist students studying at the Bancroft Campus today and throughout the future. It is greatly appreciated.”
