General Summary
- The successful CVT candidate will be a detail-oriented person with good organizational and interpersonal skills capable of monitoring and enhancing all processes affecting product quality, customer value and operating efficiency.
- The CVT function exists to ensure that all products and processes, including quarrying, manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and order fulfilment, meet the Company’s quality standards.
Specific Tasks
- Manage and verify daily production reports and, under the direction of the Controller, accurately enter data into excel worksheets on a daily basis
- Organize order pick sheets and process outgoing shipments
- Assist in procurement and purchasing functions
- Ensure that all quality control procedures are being followed by reviewing daily reports and by actively communicating with the operators involved
- The verification of daily report data will require a working knowledge of production and quality procedures and by cross-checking data with production personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and be well versed on the location and condition of all inventory.
- Perform various researching, purchasing and shipping logistics functions as required.
- Throughout, the CVT will work with management and operators to improve the overall customer experience by developing and refining procedures consistent with LEAN principles.
Qualifications
- Must possess a post-secondary degree or diploma and be trained in LEAN principles.
- Must be detailed oriented with an aptitude for accuracy in data tracking and recording.
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly excel.
- Will need to track and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Will need to demonstrate the ability to work with Goldmine CRM and Company accounting software
- Must be results oriented and able to work independently and within a team environment
