College Donates Pottery Equipment to Core Arts and Culture Centre

On Wednesday, July 3, 2013, Loyalist College Vice-President Academic John McMahon presented Core Arts and Culture Centre Executive Director Cheryl Whiteman with an in-kind donation of pottery equipment and inventory, allowing the organization to continue the long tradition of pottery programming in the Quinte region.  

Located in The Core Building (previously the Belleville Public Library) in downtown Belleville, the Core Arts and Culture Centre is a non-profit agency. For the last four years, it has provided arts and culture related programs for all ages, including instrumental lessons, art programs, drama and dance classes, film events, performances, art displays, and more. 

The Core Arts and Culture Centre currently houses local groups such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, FOCUS Accreditation, Quinte Children’s Theatre, and Quinte Symphony.
