Tuesday, November 13
Loyalist College will distribute 282 awards to students at the 22nd Annual Undergraduate Awards Ceremony on Tuesday evening.
At $160,575, these awards bring the total value of awards presented through the Awards Office this academic year to more than $287,174. Of that amount, over $115,896 has been provided by donors through the College Foundation. The awards ceremony is an opportunity to recognize the achievements and talents of student recipients and the generosity of private donors, service clubs, community partners and the College Foundation.
Financial assistance makes a significant difference in helping to set students up for success now and in the future as contributing members of our community. Four new awards will be presented, including:
- Hastings County Women’s Institute Bursary for a female student from Hastings County.
- Shaun Best Memorial Award for a second-year Photojournalism student.
- Jim Harrington Premier’s Award for a returning student in a Technology program.
- Corps of Commissionaires Award for a student registered in a program within the School of Justice Studies.
