On Tuesday August 30th, Emily Skinkle was presented the Brock University – Loyalist College Bachelor of Science in Nursing Scholarship. The $5,000 award is presented to a student who has completed the first two years of the Nursing program at Loyalist and is entering the third year at Brock University. Emily was selected to receive this scholarship because of her academic standing, performance in clinical practice, and an essay evaluated by a panel of judges that included representatives from both Brock University and Loyalist College. Emily is a graduate of Nicholson Catholic College in Belleville.
