Mental Health Awareness for Business Mini Series: Compassion Fatigue and Burnout
- Mental Health Awareness for Business Mini Series: Compassion Fatigue and Burnout
- Monday November 14 2016 14:00 to 16:00
- Small Business Centre. Located at the Quinte Business Development Centre (the Pioneer Building on the Loyalist College campus).
- 284B Wallbridge-Loyalist Road, Belleville, ON, K8N 5B3
On November 7 and 14, the Small Business Centre and Canadian Mental Health Association will be presenting two workshops on Mental Health Awareness for Business.
One of the largest growing areas of disability costs to Canadian employers is mental health. For employees, untreated mental illness can be disruptive to their work and personal life. For businesses, an unhealthy workforce can be the difference between a year of profit or loss. Focusing on mental health awareness in your workplace will assist your employees with identifying their own mental health concerns and help to create a more productive, safe and healthy work environment.
On November 7 from 2 - 4 pm, we will be discussing what mental health is and how to make your workplace healthy. On November 14 from 2 - 4 pm, we will be discussing compassion fatigue and burnout, including steps on how to recognize and deal with it in your workplace.
Seats are limited for both events. RSVP to Rachael Tracey by emailing events@smallbusinessctr.com or calling 613-961-0590.
