How to register for online training:
Step 1: Apply for an apprenticeship and sign a training agreement.
Step 2: Receive an invitation from Loyalist College for the next available term.
Step 3: Register* and pay for your courses.
- Step 3a – Child Development Practitioner LEVEL A ONLY: Submit the Level A Child Development Practitioner Apprenticeship Registration Form
- You will receive an email with payment instructions and will be required to pay your fees within five days of receiving the payment email. Payment can be made through online banking or by credit card through the Loyalist College Flywire online payment portal. If payment is not received within five days, your seat will be released, and you will not be registered. Email apprenticereg@loyalistcollege.com once you’ve made payment and you will be registered in all Level A courses.
- Step 3b – Child Development Practitioner LEVELS B – F:
- Self-register for your courses through FOCUS. Credit card payment is required at the time of self-registration. Payments cannot be made by phone or through online banking.
- Step 3c – Developmental Services Worker apprenticeship program ALL LEVELS:
- Self-register for your courses through FOCUS. Credit card payment is required at the time of self-registration. Payments cannot be made by phone or through online banking.
*Registration is subject to seat availability and seats are confirmed on a first come, first served basis. Students who self-register without an invitation to register will be withdrawn and assessed a $20 withdrawal administrative fee per course.

Registration changes
To drop one or more courses after registration, submit a Course Drop Form.
If you are looking to withdraw from ALL your courses, use the Program Withdrawal Form at loyalistcollege.com/withdraw.
If the registration period is still open, you can add a course directly for LEVEL B – F on Loyalist Focus.

Refunds
If you drop a course or withdraw from all courses within the first 3 days, you are entitled to a refund less a $20 administrative fee per course.
