Why work with students?
By engaging with experiential learning, you gain access to a motivated, qualified talent pool – students who bring fresh perspectives and can contribute meaningfully to your business. Whether supporting day-to-day operations or tackling specific projects, students can provide valuable assistance where you need it most – and may even become future long-term team members.

Hosting Loyalist College students during their experiential learning opportunities has proven to be immensely beneficial for both our organization and the students themselves. It is aways great to witness their professional growth throughout their placement, as they gain practical skills and deepen their understanding of this field. This mutually rewarding experience not only enhances their learning journey but also strengthens our commitment to fostering new talent in the field.

We have hosted many Loyalist College students here at Hastings Manor and we have had great experiences with them. Many of the students develop lasting rapports with the residents and after placement is finished we have even hired some of the students to work here. The overall experience of hosting a student has been great – they get to learn and gain new experiences and we get to provide a learning opportunity for students.
