No classes are scheduled on Monday, January 6, but all first-year students are required to attend Academic Orientation.
Winter 2025 Orientation Schedule
Orientation day is your chance to meet your classmates for the first time, get to know campus and have some fun!
- 9:30 am – 10:30 am: Official welcome (Gym)
- 10:30 am – 12:30 pm Academic orientation (Rooms Assigned)
- 12 pm – 3 pm: Canada D’EH (Shark Tank Pub) Featuring live music, outdoor skating, poutine, s’mores, and campfires outside.
- 9 pm – 1 am: Igloo party (Shark Tank Pub)

- 11 am – 1 pm: ID card and Loyalist hoodie pick up (Shark Tank Pub)
- 11 am – 12 pm: Campus Icebreakers: Meet your student government (Shark Tank Pub)
- 12 pm – 1 pm: Campus Icebreakers: Clubs and student activities (Shark Tank Pub)
- 2 pm – 4 pm: Club Pub (Shark Tank Pub) Featuring trivia, games, karaoke, Name That Tune, prizes, and tailgating food!

The Indigenous Services team at the Tsi Titewaya’taró:roks Centre are thrilled to welcome you to Loyalist College and are excited to invite you to our upcoming Indigenous orientation and Early Residence Move-In day!
This is a fantastic opportunity to get a head start on your college experience. By attending early move-in, you will have a chance to settle into your residence space before the hustle and bustle of the official start of the semester.
Orientation will provide you with essential information about campus life, academic resources, bursary prep and ways to get involved in our vibrant community.
