Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced new PGWP eligibility requirements for study permit applicants who apply on or after Nov. 1, 2024. The Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) allows you to gain valuable Canadian work experience in your field after graduation. If you plan to work in Canada after completing your studies, it is important to ensure that your program is eligible for the PGWP.
Based on the information currently available, the following Loyalist College programs align with the new requirements, and graduates from these programs may be eligible for the PGWP. This list will be updated regularly to reflect any changes. Please note, however, that the final decision regarding PGWP approval is determined by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Applicants are advised to consult the Government of Canada website to determine if they meet the eligibility requirements for the PGWP.
Please note that the following list includes all PGWP-aligned programs offered at Loyalist College at this time, however, due to capacity limits not all programs listed are currently open to international student applicants.
