The Integrative Health Centre
The Integrative Health Centre at Loyalist College is a teaching and learning space for massage therapy. It offers therapeutic treatments to the entire Loyalist community, including faculty, staff, and students, as well as to members of the public. As a hands-on, experiential learning environment, students in the Massage Therapy program gain valuable real-world experience by providing massage therapy treatments under the supervision of a Registered Massage Therapist.

About the Integrative Health Centre
The practice of massage therapy entails the assessment of the body’s musculoskeletal system and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction, injury and pain. As a result, registered massage therapists maintain, rehabilitate or augment patients’ physical function, relieve pain, or promote overall well-being and health.
At the Integrative Health Centre, Massage Therapy program students progressively learn to practise as professionals according to the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Students are supervised at all times by clinical faculty who are experienced Registered Massage Therapists.

About your appointment
Appointments are 75 minutes in length. Massage Therapy program students will review your health history form, interview and complete an orthopedic assessment to develop and implement an appropriate treatment plan. Treatments will include the application of massage therapy techniques, re-assessment and instruction in homecare exercises to accompany the treatment plan.

Effective Jan. 5, 2026, appointments are available at the following times:
- Tuesday: 2:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m.
- Wednesday: 4:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
- Thursday: 4:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.
- Friday: 3:30 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Can’t find a time that works? Add yourself to the waitlist. Appointments frequently become available the same day or the same week. The system will email you appointment options as they become available.

Prepare for your appointment
The Integrative Health Centre is located in room 2H16 of the Kente building at Loyalist’s Belleville campus. You can access maps to help you navigate to and around campus here. Please note:

Parking is free for clients of the Integrative Health Centre.

When you arrive on campus, please park in lot P9 and make your way to the doors at the Parrott Centre Library. Let campus security know that you are a client of the Integrative Health Centre and they will provide you with a free parking pass to display on your vehicle dashboard. If you need assistance finding the Centre, security can help point you in the right direction.

- Parking is free after 3pm.
Please arrive ten minutes before your appointment time. If this is your first appointment, please ensure you have completed your online health history forms.
- The Integrative Health Center is a cashless facility. Mastercard and VISA are accepted for treatments. Payment information will be required at booking.
Please Note: Treatments performed by massage therapy program students are not eligible for insurance coverage.
Twenty-four hours’ notice is required when cancelling or changing an appointment or a full treatment fee will be charged.

Treatments offered
This 75 minute appointment is open to all ages and conditions.
Fee is $25 plus HST
This 75 minute appointment is for those patients with conditions such as sciatica, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel syndrome, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, cerebral palsy and spinal cord injuries.

This 75 minute appointment is available to pregnant persons at all stages of pregnancy.
Fee is $25 plus HST
This 75 minute appointment is for those patients who have experienced sports injuries or other muscle and joint problems.
Fee is $25 plus HST
This 75 minute appointment is open to members of the Loyalist College community including students, faculty, administration etc. A Loyalist College email is required for booking.
