LOYALIST COLLEGE RANKS #2 FOR INDUSTRY RESEARCH INCOME AS PERCENTAGE OF TOTAL RESEARCH INCOME

Belleville, Ontario, Jan. 25, 2023 – Loyalist College earned its place among the Top 50 Research Colleges in Canada for the third consecutive year, cementing its status as a regional destination for economic development, applied research and innovation. The annual rankings were announced today by Research Infosource Inc., a leading consulting firm specializing in analyzing universities, corporations, hospitals and colleges in Canada’s research and development ecosystem.    

According to the spotlight rankings for medium-tier colleges, Loyalist is a national leader in attracting and supporting industry research, earning second place in the country for Industry Research Income as a percentage of total Research Income.

Loyalist’s Applied Research and Innovation Office (ARIO) supports start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as they develop and scale their ideas, products and processes to compete in a global market.
