Belleville, ON, Feb. 6, 2026 – Loyalist College will host its annual Career Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 10, welcoming more than 100 employers from across the region to the college’s Belleville campus.

At the annual event, students and alumni can speak directly with employers offering part-time, full-time and summer positions. Participants can explore career opportunities and connect with Loyalist College’s Career Services team, which offers resumé, interview and job-search support to students and is available to alumni beyond graduation.

This year’s event marks a return to a large-scale Career Fair, engaging students from across the college’s academic schools and spanning multiple campus spaces, including the Shark Tank Pub, Parrott Centre Library and gymnasium.

“With growing interest from employers across the region, we’re pleased to host an expanded format for the Career Fair,” says Warren Gee, Senior Director, Career Services and Community Development Initiatives at Loyalist College. “This event is central to how Loyalist supports students in moving from education into employment, and the variety of participating employers reflects the strong partnerships we have built with local industry. We encourage alumni in our community to attend, and welcome employers interested in connecting with Loyalist talent to explore participation in future Career Fairs.”

As part of the event, Warkworth Institution will be featured in a special employer spotlight, encouraging students and alumni to explore the diverse professional pathways available within the organization.

Henry Saulnier, Warden at Warkworth Institution, emphasizes the importance of helping students recognize the variety of roles that can exist within a single employer.

“Warkworth Institution (CSC) employs a wide range of professionals beyond correctional officers,” he says. “We also have specialists in health and mental health care, education, program delivery, social programs, culinary services, administration and the skilled trades. For students and emerging professionals, it is important to look broadly at the opportunities within any organization and to recognize that impactful careers often exist in places they may not initially expect. I encourage Loyalist students and alumni to remain open to diverse pathways; your skills and interests may align with roles that offer both purpose and long-term growth.”

Loyalist College continues to work with employers across the region to expand participation in future Career Fairs, strengthening connections between industry and the next generation of talent.
