The background is a leaf and branch wallpaper.Belleville, Ontario, July 22, 2022 – Loyalist College is pleased to announce that Barry Weese will serve as Dean of Leadership, Learning and Academic Excellence, effective August 15, 2022.

Mr. Weese brings over 15 years of leadership within the college system, including experience developing a wide range of innovative programs and has a passion for fostering trusting and supportive environments for students. Since 2017, Mr. Weese served as Associate Dean, Allied Health at St. Lawrence College.

Mr. Weese holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and Master of Science, Biology from Queen’s University. He is a member of the Colleges Ontario Heads of Health Sciences Committee and of the Queen’s University Family Health Team Advisory Committee.

“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Weese into this new role on the senior academic team at Loyalist,” said Sean Monteith, Senior Vice-President, Academic. “As we prepare to launch our latest five-year Academic Plan, Mr. Weese’s extensive knowledge and strategic vision will be instrumental in implementing new and meaningful directions for teaching, learning and student engagement at the College.”
