On Friday, December 6, Loyalist College and Northeastern University will announce a partnership designed to benefit Biosciences and Cannabis Applied Science students, and advance applied cannabis research at both institutions.

Dr. Jared Auclair, Director of Biotechnology at Northeastern, will also be at Loyalist’s Belleville campus for the announcement, speaking with Loyalist Biosciences students about the need for more application-based cannabis research. Dr. Auclair directs the Biopharmaceutical Analysis Training Laboratory, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Center of Regulatory Excellence in Biotherapeutics and oversees the International Council for Harmonisation training. These appointments allow Dr. Auclair to collaborate with both academic researchers and industry in biopharmaceutical development and analysis, as well as international regulators on best practices and new advances in the regulatory sciences for drug approvals.
