Loyalist College Residence provides a safe and vibrant community in a wooded country setting that engages students in enriching living and learning experiences. Our residence program provides an ideal transition support to college life. With 606 beds between two different styles of fully furnished residences (apartment or townhouse), students will benefit from live-in peer support, full-time professional staff, 24/7 security staff and a variety of social and developmental programming opportunities. With transit that stops right on campus, you’ll have easy access to all the perks of city living, with the convenience of waking up within walking distance of your classes.

Apartment style
We have a total of five apartment-style residences situated on campus close to classes, transit, and downtown Belleville. Our Apartment-Style Residences have accommodations for 476 students.
Each apartment has six individual bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a common living area. Single occupancy bedrooms contain a twin bed, study desk and chair, desk lamp, dresser, night table, bookshelf and a corkboard. Common kitchen and dining areas are equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, dining tables and chairs, love seat, and a coffee table.
Townhouse complex
Our townhouse-style residences are also located on campus, right outside of the Kente building, and a short walk from Residence Commons.

Stay connected with free wireless internet throughout the apartment-style residence. If additional internet services are needed, options are available through local providers. Our barrier-free apartments ensure accessibility for students with physical disabilities, while our non-smoking buildings support a healthy lifestyle.
The residences feature laundry facilities, a sports pad with basketball hoops, a beach volleyball court, and outdoor barbecues. The Residence Commons building offers study rooms, a coffee shop, a lounge with a fireplace, a big screen TV, and security-protected areas for socializing, studying, and enjoying events like open mic nights. Enthusiastic Residence Assistants are on hand to promote a positive living environment.

Applications to residence must be completed online through StarRez, which can be accessed through the myLoyalist portal. Please visit our application page for information on how to apply to residence.
Winter 2025
The deadline for Fall/Winter applications has passed, however we maintain an active wait list and make rolling offers as space opens up. We encourage you to complete an application as soon as possible to be put on the wait list. Offers and updates will be provided via your Loyalist email address when your application is complete.
Spring 2025
The Spring 2025 application is now available. The deadline to be considered for the first round of offers is February 15, 2025.
Fall 2025
The Fall 2025 application is now available. The deadline to be considered for the first round of offers is May 15, 2025.
