Learn at your own pace and develop the skills you need to advance your career with Loyalist College’s online diploma programs. Students taking these two online programs manage their own progression. You will review the courses in your program and plan what you want to register for each term. Program requirements must be completed within seven years to be awarded the credential.

Registration Process – Early Childhood Education
Step 1: Review your progression
Review all the courses required to complete the Early Childhood Education (Online) program. Only register for courses you are eligible to complete. We recommend completing the courses in the order listed on the website. Please review the pre- and co-requisite requirements for the courses you are planning to take.

Step 2: Complete registration and payment
Registration opens approximately four weeks before the term begins. Please refer to the important dates listed below.
If you are a new student, your student number and Loyalist College email account will be created as part of the self-registration process.
If you are a returning student, you must have your student number and PIN to self-register for courses online. Please do not create a duplicate student number. The default PIN is birth date (YYMMDD). If you need assistance confirming your student number please email info@loyalistcollege.com. If you need assistance or resetting your PIN, please contact servicedesk@loyalistcollege.com.
For non-OSAP students – self-register and pay by credit card:
Go to Loyalist Focus, select your courses, check out and pay by credit card.
For OSAP students – pay a deposit and request registration:
If you have applied for or been approved for OSAP, you can pay a non-refundable $100 deposit and submit a course selection form to complete your registration.
- Go to the program web page on Loyalist Focus and make note of the course code and course title for each course you are selecting.
- Pay your $100 non-refundable deposit.
- Set up online payment (fastest option for registration) by setting Loyalist College as an online bill payment and using your student number as the account number
- Make a payment using Loyalist College’s Flywire payment portal (takes up to 5 days to process).
- Submit the course selection form. This form is only available during the registration period. This form can only be submitted once so please consider your course selections carefully. Duplicate submissions will not be processed.

ECE Grant Funding
If you have applied for and been approved for ECE grant sponsorship, the College will receive confirmation directly from the funder. The Registrar’s Office will complete your registration based on the funding letter and send you a confirmation email.
Please complete the Intent of Enrolment letter template for your ECE Grant sponsorship application and submit it to advising@loyalistcollege.com for endorsement.
Important Dates and Information
- To withdraw from one or more courses after registration, submit a Course Drop Form.
- If you need to add courses to your initial registration, you can self-register on Loyalist Focus. If you are an OSAP-funded student, please email advising@loyalistcollege.com for assistance with adjusting your registration.
- If you drop a course(s) within the first 10 days, you are entitled to a refund less a $20 administrative fee per course.
Application to graduate
Once you have completed all program requirements, you can submit an application to graduate.
