Thank you for your interest in Loyalist College’s Community Integration Through Co-operative Education (CICE) program. The CICE program provides students with an opportunity to experience college life, to enhance academic skills and to develop vocational abilities.

How to apply

Contact the CICE Program Coordinator to attend a mandatory CICE information session. Email cice@loyalistcollege.com. 

Apply to the CICE program through ontariocolleges.ca (OCAS). Select Loyalist College’s Community Integration Through Co-operative Education program, NOT your specific area of interest. 

Community Integration Through Co-operative Education (CICE) Program Application Checklist:

The following documents will be required in order to complete the online application process. Documents can be submitted through the online application form. Acceptable formats include: JPEG and PDF.  For instruction on how to convert a Word doc. to a PDF click here.

  • Resumé (using the CICE Resumé format as outlined in the online application)
  • One-page typed or handwritten Personal Goals letter explaining how the CICE program will help you meet your goals, and why you need a modified program. This letter should be prepared by the applicant without assistance.
  • A copy of your high school Individual Education Plan (IEP)
  • A copy of your high school transcript (marks)
  • A copy of your Psycho-Educational Assessment (if you have one)
  • This package requires choosing two individuals to provide separate references (family members may not be references)

After reviewing the admission requirements carefully, please complete the following steps to apply to the CICE program at Loyalist College.

After submitting your OCAS application and CICE application package, you will participate in the interview and intake process, where the CICE team will work with you to identify your interests. This ensures your enrolment in classes that best match your preferences and area of interest.
