Please keep receipts from prescription drug purchases or accident claims to make a manual claim once the blackout period ends.

Eligibility

Full-time students at Belleville, Bancroft, Port Hope, and Tyendinaga locations are eligible for health plan coverage. To maintain eligibility, students must be enrolled in at least 70% of the course hours required for their program each semester. Dropping a course may affect your status as a full-time student, impacting your eligibility for the health plan.

Students with documented permanent disabilities

If you have documented disabilities and are registered with AccessAbility Services, or verified through the Financial Aid Office you are considered full-time when registered in a minimum of 40% of a course load. In this case you will be charged for part-time ancillary fees and therefore not covered under the health plan.

If you wish to be covered by the health plan you can complete the Students with Documented Permanent Disabilities Ancillary Form as per our AccessAbility Policy for Full-Time Ancillary Fees.
