The Student Vice-President, Port Hope is responsible for connecting the Port Hope campus to the Belleville campus.
Responsibilities include representing the students of the Port Hope campus, attending Board meetings (virtually or in-person), actively engaging with the students of the Port Hope campus to determine their needs, and advocating on their behalf. Duties also include planning and running interactive events aimed at engaging students.
You are an ideal candidate if you:
- Have strong people, communication, and organizational skills.
- Enjoy working with diverse groups and advocating for students.
- Are a proactive multitasker who can collaborate across departments.
- Have experience in public speaking and event planning.
- Are eager to learn and grow both personally and professionally.
Be prepared to:
- Engage actively with students at the Port Hope campus.
- Attend Student Government Board meetings and communicate relevant information.
- Plan and coordinate events and activities.
- Address and meet student needs.
