Our mission is to foster a supportive and accessible environment. It is our goal to maximize your potential for success, inspire your confidence, get you excited about learning, and prepare you for the workplace. We support students identified or diagnosed with:

  • Attention Deficit Disorder (inattentive, hyperactive, combined)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Blind or Low Vision
  • Brain Injury
  • Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Learning Disability
  • Medical Condition
  • Mental Health (anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc.)
  • Mild Intellectual Disability
  • Mobility

We work with students who had an Individual Educational Plan (IEP) in secondary school and those who have been supported through community agencies. We also work with students who feel they may have a disability that impacts their learning.

We’re here to help you adjust to college life with personalized services and accommodations tailored to your needs. From advocacy and assistive technology to exam arrangements and referrals, our team provides the support you need to succeed. We work with you to create an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) to ensure you receive the necessary accommodations. For more details on the services and support available and to view the AccessAbility Services Faculty and Student Handbook, visit the myLoyalist portal.
