Days of significance at Loyalist College

At Loyalist College, we are committed to fostering an understanding and appreciation for the cultural and historical significance of various dates that reflect the diversity of our community.

Home / About / Days of significance at Loyalist College

Our calendar highlights days of importance locally, nationally and internationally, supporting the rights and representation of groups identified under the Employment Equity Act – Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, racialized persons (visible minorities) and women. Additionally, we recognize dates important to those facing discrimination based on faith, gender, or sexual identity, and include observances that align with our community’s values, such as Earth Day, Canada Day and Remembrance Day.
