Student Health Centre

Our Student Health Centre is here to support you! Located in the Health & IMPACT Centre by the Parrott Centre Library the Health Centre is staffed by a full-time registered nurse, a support specialist, and a part-time attending physician. We offer comprehensive, high-quality, and responsive health care services. We also coordinate immunization clearance for students attending placements, ensuring you’re ready for all your educational experiences.

The Health Centre is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of Loyalist College students by offering you a range of services such as:

  • Acute and episodic medical care
  • Mental health counselling
  • Sexual and reproductive health care
  • Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing
  • Gender-affirming care
  • Support and referrals for survivors of sexualized violence
  • Immunizations including program-required
  • Flu shot clinics
  • Pap testing
  • Free condoms and period products
  • Over-the-counter medication
  • Emergency contraceptive
  • Lactation room
  • Resource information
  • Light therapy for treatment of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

The Student Health Centre is funded by student ancillary fees, so we ask that students provide a valid 2024-2025 Student ID Card or other proof of current registration to access services.

The Student Health Centre is located in the Health & iMPACT Centre (Room 2S01) and are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for appointments.
