Loyalist’s state-of-the-art Digital Media Centre opened its doors in September 2013. The 10,000-square-foot all-platform newsroom features:
- Video editing suites
- Television studio
- Interview booths
- Audio production booths
- Meeting rooms
This is where Loyalist students produce QNet News, an award-winning community online news service. Students write, report, share photographs, host programs and produce web, social media and video and audio content. Adapting with the changing media landscape, students are on the cutting edge of how the news is gathered and distributed, producing high-quality news coverage for public consumption.
