Your Orientation Top Ten – Don’t Miss These Highlights!

1. Explore Canvas:
   Canvas is Loyalist’s learning management system. Log on to take the Canvas Orientation Course to get a jump-start on your Loyalist experience. 

2. Virtual Pre-Orientation:
   Orientation from the comfort of home! Check out the schedule below to see all the Virtual Orientation sessions available Jan. 3 – 4.

3. International Orientation:
   Are you an international student coming to Loyalist College? Check out our International Student Orientation page for all the programming tailored to you! 

4. Orientation Day:
   January 9 is Orientation Day, the official start of Winter Orientation. No classes are scheduled, but all first-year students must attend a mandatory Academic Orientation from 9 – 11 am.  Check out the list below to find your program and scheduled classroom.

5. Welcome Booth:
   Check out the Welcome Booth at the Kente Building front lobby from Jan. 9 – 13 to ask questions, meet staff and faculty, get limited edition merch and enjoy free hot drinks!

6. Pub Events:
   Amazing events are happening daily in the Shark Tank Pub on campus.

7. Lancer Games:
   Catch a Loyalist Lancer home games on Friday, Jan. 13 and Saturday, Jan. 14.

8. Midday Spirit:
   Visit the gym Jan. 10 – 11 from 11 am – 1 pm for music, activities and fun!

9. Beaver Tail Truck:
   Don’t miss the Beaver Tail Truck on campus on Jan.10 outside the Shark Tank Pub.

10. Snowcial:
     Hang out with you peers in the Dining Hall on Jan. 10 from 3 – 5 pm

Please Note: Loyalist College will be closed until January 4th, 2022. The Pre-Orientation Sessions on January 3rd and 4th are virtual and can be completed from the comfort of your home!
